Client: EZ Snap Covers
EZ Snap Covers is a company that specializes in baseboard covers that are top of the line for any home owner.
The team at EZ Snap Covers needed a bit of a redesign and better user experience once they saw some of the work I've done on Shopify.
The challenge
EZ Snap covers already had a following. So a redesign was really one of the biggest challenges.
By having less of a "clunky" look, the user is able to navigate better and understand what EZ Snap Covers is all about while still keeping some of the existing elements. Less is more!
The other challenge was modifying one of their apps to work like a bundle app. The one they were using was out of date and the developer was not going to be working on it anymore. YIKES!
Not only was the developer not working on the app anymore, but the admin end of Shopify orders was not working well for them with this app. Since I knew about one they were using....hey why not modify it?!
The Nitty Gritty
I was the project manager and development lead in this one. I gave my designer the basic visuals we needed and had him go at it.
Since this was going to be a bit heavier on dev, I needed the help to finish the design idea in time.
Overall, this was a great project that had many challenges and is still growing with EZ Snap Covers.
