About Us

Since he was able to pick up a pencil, Rob Hinch loved to draw. In the early 80s, there was a morning television show called Captain Bob, which inspired Rob to draw everyday. Spending the whole half-hour trying to perfect the sketches of ocean life hoping that one day his drawings would be displayed on the show. Of course, a small boy holding up his work to the television doesn't get you noticed. Rob continued drawing and came upon newer inspirations; comic books, cartoons, and portraits.

As video games and computers came to be more common in homes, the passion of art grew, as well as the technical aspects of computers. Designing games on a small IBM 486, with a whopping 4 Mb of RAM! During his high school years, Rob became interested in computer animation, unfortunately there were no schools close by and affordable.

After graduating high school in 1995, graphic design seemed to be a great career to get into. Graphic design had real artistic passions. During his years at Salem State College, a myriad of skills were aquired, including minor programming skill, IT support, web design and painting. With interests in typography, the movements in flash, and the wonderful things one can do with Photoshop and Illustrator newer ideas flowed.

Almost immediately after graduation in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, Rob started working for a small company in North Reading. Perfecting his skills and picking up new ones as well. Now able to create direct mailers, screen printing, embroidery design, websites - and many more - Rob decided to freelance his skills as RWH Studios.

Today RWH Studios has grown rapidly. Picking up bigger names and better skill sets. We welcome everyone and will almost never say "no" to a customer.
